Children’s Programs
Black History Month Reading Contest
February, Anytime. Children in grades K-6, read any book by an African American author or about Black history or culture and enter your name in a prize drawing any time in the month of February in the Children’s Room.
Tiny Tots Story Time
Wed., Feb. 6, 20, 27, 10:30 am. Parents bring your toddlers ages 15 momths-5 years to the library and listen to stories and learn finger plays with your little one. Afterwards, enjoy interactive toys and snack in the library’s meeting room.
Free Tutoring @ Your Library
Wed., Feb. 6, 13, 20 & 27, 6 pm. Willingboro High School honor students will tutor students in elementary and middle school. Space is limited and registration is required.
Legos @ the Library
Thurs., Feb. 7 & 21, 4 pm. Budding engineers in grades K through 3, use your imagination to build your own creations – the sky is the limit!
Tiny Tots Valentine Party
Wed., Feb. 13, 11 am. Parents bring your Tiny Tots ages 15 momths-5 years to the library and enjoy Valentine crafts, story time, games, snacks and fun! Siblings welcome.
Get Crafty with Miss Nancy
Thurs., Feb. 14 & 28, 4 pm. Students in grades K-3 will enjoy arts and crafts in the Children’s Room.
Read to a Dog
Thurs., Feb. 21, 6 pm. Readers of all ages are welcome to come in and get to know our furry therapy dogs.
Tween Programs
Sixth Annual Youth Art Contest Call for Entries
Jan. – Mar., All Day. Art projects will be accepted from January 2 through March 15 for entry in our sixth annual art contest. Students in 5th and 6th grade should drop off their entries in the Children’s Room.
Valentine Chocolate Roses!
Wed., Feb. 13, 3:30 pm. Kids in grades 4-6, bring a friend and make some tasty roses for your special someone!
Mother/Daughter Book Club
Wed., Feb. 20, 6 pm. Mothers and daughters (grades 4-8) can explore stories together, independently and at the library’s book club! Light refreshments will be served.
Make & Take Wednesdays
Wed., Feb. 27, 3:30 pm. Kids in grades 4-6, take a break from homework and create a fun craft to keep or give away.
Teen Programs

Get Runway Ready!
Tues., Feb. 5, 12 and 19, 6 pm. Ediomi Utuk, Willingboro resident and fashion and style enthusiast and professional photographer, will lead this three-part runway workshop for teens interested in modeling.
Cover2Cover High School Book Club
Mon., Feb. 25, 2:15 pm. Get together with friends and talk about the latest great read for teens – light refreshments will be served. This program will be held in the Willing High School’s MVP Room; all area high school students are welcome to attend.
Family Programs
Black History Month Gala
Sat., Feb. 2, 2 pm. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Zeta Delta Chapter and Willingboro Public Library will co-sponsor an afternoon of cultural activities, poetry and more. No registration required and light refreshments will be served.
African American Read-in-Chain
Sun., Feb. 3, 2 pm. Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc. and Willingboro Public Library will co-sponsor a celebration of African American literary creativity with read-aloud from favorite African American authors. No registration required and light refreshments served.
Blacks in Wax
Sat., Feb. 23, 11 am. Courageous black women come alive with Delta Academy and Delta G.E.M.S youth programs sponsored by the Rancocas Valley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and Willingboro Public Library. No registration required and light refreshments served.
