Program: IEP Made Easy

Registration: Not required

Attention parents!  Join us at the Willingboro Public Library for an informational and question and answer session which will demystify the IEP process.  Lisa Hulse from the Family Support Organization of Burlington County will be at the library to explain the processes of an Individual Educational Plan for you special needs child.  Light refreshments will be served.

 

Program: Apply for Your Passport at the Library

Day, Dates & Times: Tues., Jan 5 & 19, 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.

Registration: Not required

The Burlington County Clerk's office will process your passport application while you wait. Payment by check or money order only.

Program: Book Café! What Are Willingboro Library Patrons Reading?

Day, Date & Time: Wed., Jan. 13, 10:30 a.m.

Registration:  Begins Jan. 2

Come and share your good reads with other library patrons over brunch. Come with one to three books that you have recently read and tell us about it. Or just come and find out what good books to read. We can't keep a good book to ourselves.

 

Program: Job Interview Workshop 

Day, Date & Time: Wed., Jan. 13, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Registration: Begins two weeks before the class.

Ready to go back to work, or to find a better job? Improve your interviewing skills, and be well prepared for your interview. This two-hour session will help you learn how to make a great impression!

 

Program: Zora Neale Hurston: A Recipe for Keeping It Real

Day, Date & Time: Sat., Jan. 16, 2 p.m.

Registration: Begins Dec. 30

Willingboro's own Alma Day will present a tribute to Zora Neale Hurston. How did this lavishly gifted writer keep it real in her life and in her writing? How did she contribute to her community at the same time she immortalized it in fiction? Get ready for a great show.

 

Program: Clutter Control

Day, Date & Time: Tues., Jan. 19, 7 p.m.

Registration: Begins Dec. 29

Get rid of your clutter and give yourself the gift of a harmonious and beautiful home for the new year. Kathleen McCabe returns to the library to share her wit and wisdom, and inspire us to do what it takes to clean up our acts.
