Children’s Programs
Black History Month Reading Contest
February, Anytime. Children in grades K-6, read any book by an African American author or about Black history or culture and enter your name in a prize drawing any time in the month of February in the Children’s Room.
Family Programs
Black History Gala
Sat., Feb. 3, 2 pm. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Zeta Delta Zeta Chapter and Willingboro Public Library will co-sponsor an afternoon of cultural activities featuring Universal African Dance & Drum and others. No registration required and light refreshments will be served.
African American Read-in-Chain
Sun., Feb. 4, 2 pm. Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc. and Willingboro Public Library will co-sponsor a celebration of African American literary creativity with read-aloud from favorite African American authors. No registration required and light refreshments served
Blacks in Wax
Sat., Feb. 24, 11 am. Delta Academy and Delta G.E.M.S youth programs sponsored by the Rancocas Valley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and Willingboro Public Library present “Because Of Them, We Can: The 22 Courageous Collegians of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
No registration required and light refreshments served.

Meet the Author – Dr. Benjamin Nero
Sat., Feb. 10, 2 pm. Dr. Benjamin Nero will discuss and sign his book That’s the Way it Was: A Memoir. No registration required and light refreshments served.
Sojourner Group
Wed., Feb. 21, 10:30 am. Join us to discuss selected articles, issues and topics that affect us daily on every third Wednesday of the month.
African Heritage Film Festival
Tues., Feb. 27, 6:30 pm
Willingboro Public Library and Links Inc. Rancocas Valley Chapter will show an African Heritage documentary and hold discussion at the Willingboro Township Senior Citizens Center on the 4th Tuesday of the month. Light refreshments will be served.
