Library Programs

Banned Books Week

Celebrate our freedom to read by taking the Challenged Book Challenge! The First Amendment guarantees our right to read whatever we please. We must be vigilant in protecting this precious freedom, and ensure that challenges to libraries do not result in books being banned from our shelves. Enter our contest to test your awareness of challenges to our intellectual freedom! Contest applications are at the Reference Desk. One winner will receive five challenged books.
