National Poetry Month Reading


kathleenbonannocompress.jpgCelebrate National Library Week and National Poetry Month with award-winning poets Kathleen Sheeder Bonanno and Rocky Wilson at Willingboro Public Library on Sun., Apr. 18 at 2 p.m. Local poets are invited to read their own work following Bonanno and Wilson's performances. This free program is open to the public and requires no registration.


Kathleen Sheeder Bonanno is a contributing editor of the The American Poetry Review and teaches English and Creative Writing in Pennsylvania. She has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize for her poetry, and her first collection--Slamming Open the Door-won the 2008 Beatrice Hawley Award from Alice James Books.

           rockywilsoncompress.jpg  Robert "Rocky" Wilson is a poet, teacher, performer and puppeteer who has been called the "Puppet Laureate" of Camden, N.J. He twice received the Jeanne Boone Poetry Award in recognition of his own poems.
