Fundraising Drive Continues- $10,100 Raised
Willingboro Public Library's major fund-raising campaign in honor of its fiftieth anniversary continues. with $10,100 raised to date. “Willingboro Public Library was founded in 1960,” says library director Christine King. “We have a vision for the next fifty years that can be enabled with the support of the community.” The library aims to raise 50 for 50: $1000 for each year of the library's existence. The proceeds will support library activities not covered by our budget, particularly technology upgrades.
A gala dinner dance is planned for Fri., Nov. 11 from 7-11 p.m. at the Hotel ML in Mount Laurel. This after-five attire event will feature cocktails, buffet dinner, silent auction and dancing.
