A Conversation About The Conversation
Why is it so difficult for African-American men and women to build long-term, loving and mutually beneficial relationships? This is the question raised by The Conversation, Hill Harper's fascinating and controversial new best-selling book. Retired educator and Willingboro resident Lena Savage will help us explore these issues at Willingboro Public Library on Sat., Dec. 5 at 2:30 p.m. Register beginning Nov. 13 for this free program, which is open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
Lena Savage taught at Girard College for many years, with a specialty in technology and business education. She is a graduate of South Carolina State University and Antioch College, with a teaching certificate from St. Joseph's University.
