"The party stumbles upon deeper mysteries within the bowels of the Church. Sneaking in under cover of dark (while overcoming a pair of diabolical locked doors), the party infiltrated the cellar of the Church while it's inhabitants slept. Sneaking unheard and unseen, they discovered a hidden door which led them to a room containing a strange mechanical, magical apparatus designed to siphon and store magic - so it seemed. Stealing many of the materials there and destroying others, the party escapes into the night with the Church none-the-wiser. Something very below board is going on within the Church. The only question now being - what to do about it?"
