Children’s Room Closing Checklist

Please initial each task as you complete it each night.  Thank you.

^* All books collected throughout the room should be placed on the red cart for shelving in

  the morning

^** When walking through the Fiction, Nonfiction, Paperback, Biography, and Series collections, pull any books that are not shelved properly, e.g. books placed at the end of the shelf (after the book holder), books put on top of other books, books on the floor, and books on the top of the shelves.

All other closing duties (e.g. flashing library lights, setting Amy’s phone to Night Mode, closing windows in the staff area, and checking all areas in Administration to ensure they are empty are to be completed after closing the Children’s Room for the evening.
