Program: "Catch the Reading Bug" - Summer Reading Club

Grades: Entering 1-3
Registration: Ongoing
"Catch the Reading Bug" and join W.P,L.'s Summer Reading Club and get buggy while making friends during vacation. You will enjoy crafts, prizes, games and books at every meeting. If you attend camp and can't make the meetings, just read at home and tell a librarian about the book you read and receive a prize! Books & T-shirts raffled every week just for enjoying adventures through reading

Program: Meet the Real D.W.

Grades: K-2
Registration begins: June 8
If you enjoy the Arthur books and his sister D.W., now is your chance to meet the "Real D.W. - Kim Brown, the author, Marc Brown's sister. Miss Brown will share her childhood memories about growing up with Marc. Miss Brown will also share with you how to draw Arthur. At the end of the presentation each of you will get an autograph stamp.
Family Programs
Program: Capoeira Performance

Capoeira is an energetic combination of Brazilian dance and martial arts. Bring the whole family to this outdoor performance which is sure to get everyone on their feet! (If inclement weather, this performance will be held in the library's meeting room)

Calling all teens!!! Be a part of W.P.L.'s Summer Reading Club. This year's theme is Metamorphosis @ Your Library, and we'll be offering exciting summer reads, Tuesday trivia contests, Thursday games and cool, do-it-yourself projects, entertainment, snacks, and, of course, prizes!!
