Meet Negus Adeyemi, author of four books of poetry, at Willingboro Public Library on Sat., June 3 at 2 p.m. Copies of his books will be available for sale and signing. This free event is open to the public and requires no registration. Refreshments will be served. Brooklyn native Negus Adeyemi was born to parents from Barbados where his father was a calypso and folk musician. He began writing poetry after his 2008 graduation from N.J. Institute of Technology with a degree in Electrical Engineering. “As a poet,” he says, “my goal is to express myself in a way that enlightens, heals, uplifts, guides and augments the hue man spirit.” His most recent book is Gemineye.
Mindfulness – Adult Coloring, Thurs., June 8, 6:30 pm. Enjoy an evening of mindfulness and anti-stress art therapy through adult coloring. Light refreshments will be served.
